All wedding flowers have different symbolic emotions and, of course, affections that are attached to them. Even silk wedding flowers have their own meaning behind them. Although most of these meanings came about during the Victorian Era, these meanings hold true for today's time as well. Red ones stand for passion and love. A white rose is, of course, going to stand for innocence, and a pure love. If you have pink roses, then those are going to stand for perfect happiness! The yellow rose is the one you have to be careful of. The yellow one stands for friendship. Thus, these make for good wedding favors, but not so much to use in your wedding. Then there is one more rose, which is the thornless rose. This is one that means love at first sight.

Some other wedding flowers you may want to know about would be the Gardenia. This is a flower that is suppose to stand for love, or a secret love. An orchid is something that stands for beauty and, of course, love. However, nowadays it can also stand for refinement, thus, the meaning of that one is left up to you. The Blue Violet is a favorite among people, because it stands for 'I'll always be true'. The last two that we will talk about is the Forget me not, which stands for true love and, of course, good memories, which makes sense, because you would not want to forget those memories. Last, we are going to talk about the Red Chrysanthemum. This is a flower that is suppose to show sharing.

There are many other flowers, but these are some of the most commonly used in weddings. What you have to do is make sure that you pick out a flower that is prefect for you. The flowers not only have to go with the theme and feel of your wedding, but they also need to say what you want to say. Flowers are a great way to get points across that you have a hard time saying.
