First of all, you are going to want the wedding decorations to match your personal sense of style. Do not choose a certain theme just because other people do. That is not worth your time and your money. Also, like we said, you will need to make sure that your wedding reception decorations match your church decorations. First of all, the flowers are going to be a big part of your wedding. You have two different choices that you can go with, as far as floral arrangements go. The live floral arrangements are used the most, but dried flowers and, of course, silk flowers are starting to become more popular. All of them are a great way to go about decorating for your wedding. Also, do not forget the balloons. The great thing about balloons is that they are an affordable way to go about getting that contemporary look that you want. You could even go as far as throwing some glitter and confetti around the room or around the tables. This is a cheap yet very affective way to decorate for your wedding. Next would be the candles. You can not have a wedding without candles! If it's going to be a long party, then you need big candles that can make it through the party. If it's going to be a short reception, then do not worry about it and just get tiny votives. A good centerpiece for the food table is, of course, an ice sculpture. It does not have to be big; it just has to get the point across. They are a little pricey, but they are a very elegant way to add some class to your wedding.

Following these few tips that we talked about is going to insure that you have the wedding of your dreams and one that people are sure to remember for a long time to come.
